Interviews in this Issue

The three interviews in this issue of Wordgathering all illustrated varied aspects of the writing and publication process. Katie Rainey, who publishes through her press Dead Rabbits discusses the kind of books that the press is looking for. Meg Day and Niki Herd describe their the important work they have been doing through researching the archives of poet/activist Laura Hershe and bringing out the first volume of her collected work under the Unsung Masters program. Interviewed by Jennifer Habel, poet Jillian Weise, one of disability literature's best known poets, tries bring the poem of a writer known only as Nightengale of Samarkand to a wider public.
